Young FOBZ Days
It was 1999 when the first Young FOBZ days took place and they undoubtedly grew in popularity each year. But all good things must come to an end and with some exciting new experience days due to be launched this spring (watch our website for details) that include a Junior Keeper for a Day for the 8 to 13 year olds amongst you as well as meerkat (12 years and over) and big cat experiences (14 years and over), it is not possible for us to provide the Young FOBZ days.
We sincerely apologise for any disappointment this may cause but hope you will appreciate and possibly sample some of the exciting new opportunities that we have put together for you. The new Junior Keeper for a Day’s will run all year round, hopefully distributing the workload more evenly rather than just the summer break although I suspect that is when we will be at our busiest but we are looking forward to giving more of you the opportunity to come and see what its like to be a zoo keeper.
