Friends of Banham Zoo

FOBZ Committee

The Friends of Banham Zoo committee is currently made up of 11 people who meet every couple of months to discuss fundraising projects and fund allocation plus looking at ways to develop the charity and increase our conservation efforts.  The committee is made up of staff from Banham Zoo with expertise in animal management, education and research plus people from outside the zoo with a strong interest and dedication to animal welfare and conservation.

Committee members must stand down every 4 years but can stand for re-election at the annual AGM which takes place in April.

Currently the committee is made up of the following individuals:

Vice Chairman – Mike Woolham
Secretary – Helen McLaren
Treasurer – Debbie Walsh

The commitee can also co-opt up to three members.

If you are interested in standing for the committee then you must be a member of FOBZ and must complete the application form and send it in for consideration at the next AGM.
